The riders get 2 rest days during the 3 grueling weeks of the Tour. I don’t know about them, but I’m happy to have had an off day! It’s not easy being a fan and having so many early mornings and long days in the hot sun. Sure, it’s tough to be a cyclist but they have a support staff to bring them water and do their laundry and drive them around–I’m pretty much on my own! I have had some help from family and friends in the publicity department, though, so here is a collection of photos they’ve found online.

Stage 7 photos taken in Montpellier by Kevin Derks, one of my Dutch friends who works the morning set up.
